LET´S TRAVEL IN TIME - FROM THE GREAT MORAVIAN SLAVS TO 21st CENTURY

This is the title of a new game prepared for the visitors of Slovácko Region. 
The game was created in cooperation with four tourist sites – Slavic Settlement in Mikulčice, Chateau Milotice, Open-Air Museum of Rural Architecture in South-eastern Moravia in Strážnice and Regional Centre in Hodonín – and Cross Czech Company (partner of the CUSTODES project, located in Prague). The principal figure is a small traveller Rosťa who guide the visitors throughout the region´s significant sites and introduces them the rich history.
Along with the entrance ticket into Slavic Settlement in Mikulčice, Chateau Milotice or Open-Air Museum of Rural Architecture in South-eastern Moravia in Strážnice visitors receive (especially families with children, grand-parents with children or children/youth groups – school classes, summer camps etc.) a puzzle board with puzzle pieces and a leaflet with quiz questions. Tour of the sites and careful listening of the guide’s interpretation will help to answer all quiz questions. Then the visitors need to fill in the coupon and present it at the ticket office where they receive a small figure of Rosťa dressed in a period costume typical for the location. This small figure is a part of the puzzle.  After solving quiz questions in the remaining two locations, visitors will be able to assemble the whole puzzle and get a nice souvenir from their visit.
This game was created as a pilot action within the CUSTODES project which is funded by the EU Structural Funds, Operational Programme of the Transnational Cooperation - Central Europe.
